About Us
DialogIQ is a simple but powerful tool for teachers who want to bring conversational AI into their classrooms—on their own terms. Built by educators, for educators, DialogIQ helps teachers create dynamic, guided chat scenarios for language learning, critical thinking, and classroom engagement.
But more than a platform, DialogIQ reflects the shared vision of its co-founders, Jordan J. De Maio and Daniel J. Morris, two lifelong educators with decades of experience across age groups, disciplines, and educational contexts.
Jordan J. De Maio

Jordan is a university lecturer, language educator, and technologist based in Rome. He teaches Business English and communication courses at major Italian universities (currently at the Catholic University of Rome, and the University of Rome “Tor Vergata”), drawing on a deep knowledge of business, international education, and learning design.
As the founder of the Università Popolare di Torpignattara (UPTP), a grassroots adult education center, Jordan brings a strong commitment to lifelong learning and educational equity. His work bridges academia and accessibility, formal learning and experimentation. DialogIQ emerged from this same impulse: to empower teachers to use cutting-edge tools in intuitive, classroom-friendly ways.
Daniel J. Morris

Daniel Morris is an educator, technologist, communicator, and entrepreneur. With a background in biology and a professional track record spanning the hospitality sector, university services, marketing, and third-sector strategy and policy development, Daniel combines analytical thinking with creative flair. He is passionate about theatre, digital innovation in education, and empowering learners through meaningful, real-world communication.
Through his consulting and educational technology work, Daniel helps schools and educators navigate the digital transformation of learning. His contributions to DialogIQ ensure the platform stays grounded in the real-world needs of teachers and students alike—especially younger learners.
Together, Jordan and Daniel built DialogIQ not as a tech startup, but as a teacher’s tool: flexible, human-centered, and always guided by pedagogical purpose.
